Depending on the configuration there can be different fields to be filled before submitting the termination request. If there is an interface to a local payroll additional information needs to be provided, e.g. the last payroll run date for a compensation component. As well there could be an approval workflow attached depending on the termination reason given.

Prerequisites for this Step by Step Guide to rehiring the employee are: the employee has been terminated in SAP Employee Central in the past and therefore the data exists within the Employee Central system. And to complete the step the feature "Add New Employee" in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is known and understood by the HR administrator.
